Young People and Domestic Abuse – Have Your Say!

Women’s Safety NSW has joined arms with DVNSW, Youth Action NSW and YFoundations to provide advice to our governments on effectively responding to domestic and family violence in relation to young people.

We believe that the knowledge and experience of young people should be at the forefront of government decision-making around policy which impacts them. For this reason, we want to hear from young people with lived experience of domestic and family violence (DFV).

Have your say!

If you are a young person, aged 16-24 years of age, and would like to have your say, you can do so HERE.

Join the Advisory Group!

In the coming months Youth Action are planning to form an Advisory Group of young people who:

  • themselves have a lived experience of DFV;
  • have a friend or family member with a lived experience of DFV; or,
  • who have cared for someone with a lived experience of DFV.

This advisory group will work with Youth Action to ensure the knowledge and experience of young people informs our policy and advocacy work in this area.
