Lives will be lost without additional funding, warns Women’s safety services
Hundreds of organisations that support survivors of domestic and family violence are warning lives will be lost if additional funding isn’t provided. Federal, State and Territory Womens’ Safety Ministers are meeting today to discuss how to reduce violence against women and children. They’ll discuss how to reduce the rates violence against women and their children. While specialist women’s safety services are calling for urgent action saying the funding is not keeping up with demand.
